Matakana River Tours Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
To purchase any travel services offered by Matakana River Tours constitutes a contractual arrangement between you (the traveler) and Matakana River Tours Tours and represents your acceptance of Terms and Conditions set out herein.
Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking.
PAYMENT
All prices are in NZ Dollars and include GST.
Credit Card details will be taken at the time of booking.
Payments are processed when the booking is made.
LATE ARRIVAL
You are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled Matakana River Tours booking to check-in with the team and receive your boat ticket.
The tour starts at the designated time. We will not hold the boat for late arrivals.
We do not provide refunds if you arrive late and miss the tour
REFUNDS
If a Matakana River Tours Tour is cancelled due to weather or sea conditions, pre-booked passengers will be refunded for the full amount of their booking. Refunds are made through our online booking system and take up to five business days to process. Funds will be deposited to the credit card used to make your initial booking.
If you are late and miss your tour, you will not be refunded.
CANCELLATIONS
IF YOU CANCEL:
To cancel and receive a refund for your pre-booked tour or activity, you must contact us 24 hours prior to your booking.
We do not provide refunds for same-day cancellations.
IF WE CANCEL
CANCELLATION BY THE MATAKANA RIVER TOURS
While we always endeavour to avoid cancellations and changes, we must reserve the right to do so.
However, we promise we will only cancel your confirmed booking where we are forced to do so as a result of circumstances outside our control, like sea or weather conditions.
If your booking is cancelled you will be notified as early as possible via text message on the cell phone number provided in your booking. You can reschedule your booking for another day, or receive a full refund.
INCIDENTS
Any abnormal incidents including injuries, service problems, cancellations of a service or dissatisfaction must be reported to Matakana River Tours LTD to allow us an opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.
COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint while on the tour, you must report it at the time to a representative of Matakana River Tours.
If you remain dissatisfied, you must send us full details of your complaint in writing within 10 days of your return from the tour.
We regret we cannot accept liability in relation to any other complaint or claim which is not notified entirely in accordance with this clause
RESERVED RIGHTS
Matakana River Tours LTD has reserved the right to photograph and film any event for media publication.
Matakana River Tours LTD may vary these terms and conditions at any time.
Any variations become effective on posting.
By making a purchase through this site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.
SECURE PAYMENT GATE WAY
Matakana River Tours uses a booking system provided by Fareharbor.
We protect your credit card information during transmission by using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information when transmitted over the Internet.
Your credit card details are not held by Fareharbor and cannot be accessed by Fareharbor staff
